August - In Review

I'm only a month behind now - small blessings! =) August was full of tons of fun stuff.

First off, we went to Chick-fil-A for Super Hero Day. Greyson dressed as Buzz Lightyear (please don't tell him that Buzz isn't a Super Hero - lol). We met the Beard's and ate dinner. Then the boys got to do face painting (or in our case - arm painting), bounce houses, dunking tanks, etc. Greyson especially love the dunk tank.

Later in the month, we did the Fair with Luke's parents.

I so wish that I wasn't holding a hot dog like a trophy in this picture. I adore it of Greyson and I (minus the hot dog).

d

He was acting like a frog in this picture. Can't you tell?

He loved riding the horse. He was so sweet with them. It was adorable. Good thing Grandma was there, I'm not sure Mommy would have paid $5 for a horse ride. =)

Pig racing was also a favorite. It was pretty interesting.

Then, in the middle of the month, we had friends from Columbia stay with us for a night. We did Silver Dollar City the first day.

The next day, we went to the Discovery Center.

I think we are going to try to make it an annual trip because all of us had a great time.

I had a photo shoot this day, so Luke decided to take Greyson out for a treat. Greyson decided that he was going to go as Buzz. lol.

July - In Review

Over the fourth of July, we went to Randy and Marcy's house for a small get together. While we were there, we participated in the 4th of July kids parade. Greyson helped decorate his bike and then rode in the parade. He had learned to ride his bike the night before, so he was definitely nervous. He did great though.

He also did the egg race, which he didn't quite get. =)

After that, we went back to Randy and Marcy's and went swimming.

Later in the month, we had Stacy, Cody and Katelyn over for dinner and water fun. I found a water blob on Pinterest and decided to make it. It didn't turn out quite as expected but Greyson loved it. Katelyn was scared, but I think she finally ended up sitting on it.

I had a few photoshoots in Columbia, so we made a weekend out of it. We hit a few of our favorite restaurants and we able to hang out with some friends at the toddler water park.

That pretty much sums up July...now on to August. =)
