Don't Shoot Me!
Greyson got two little water guns for going poop on the potty. He was so excited about them, especially when we showed him how they work. Anyways, I thought it would be the perfect play date thing. Preston came over and the boys had tons of fun. They mostly just shot trees and ants, but it was still adorable.

Daddy's Little Helper
Most evenings after dinner Luke and Greyson do a little project together. It almost always includes screws and the screwdriver, because that just happens to be Greyson's tool of choice. I find it pretty adorable.
Btw, somewhere between the second picture and the rest....he lost his pants. Not really sure what happened there. =)

The Three of Us
Luke started a blog (I think I might be rubbing off on him). Well, that really isn't correct because he has had a blog for quite some time, but I like to think I rub off on him. Make sense? Anyways, he started a house blog with the intent to document the changes we make to the house along the way. He is way behind, but I love the idea. In the very back of my head, there is a little voice that says "Hey, if you're good enough at documenting maybe you get sponsors...blah...blah..blah". I know I'm kidding myself, but I still love the idea for just seeing how far we come while we are at this house.

The Most Amazing Brownies EVER!
This brownie was amazing! Seriously, the best brownie Luke and I have ever tried. I love brownies (just the plain old kind), but the butter, sugar, caramels and pretzels took the plain old brownies to a whole new level. I may never go back. AMAZING!
Recipe from Love from the Oven
Ingredients
Favorite Brownie Mix (I used Betty Crocker)
Your favorite mix ins (I used Caramel Bits)
3 cups of crushed pretzels
1 cup melted butter
5 tbsp sugar
1. Put pretzels in the food processor to crunch up. Add melted butter and sugar. Combine. Spread out on a greased brownie pan.
2. Next prepare your brownie batter (with your favorite mix ins, such as chocolate chips and caramel bits) as instructed on the box. Spread your brownie batter onto the pretzel crust.
3. Bake according to package. Enjoy!

Italian Brunch Torte
Recipe from adapted from Taste of Home Magazine
Prep: 50 min
Bake: 1 hour + standing
Yield: 12 Servings
Ingredients
2 Tubes (8 ounces each) refrigerated crescent rolls, divided
10 Ounces fresh baby spinach
1 tsp olive oil
7 eggs
1 C grated Parmesan cheese
2 tsp Italian seasoning
1/8 tsp pepper
1/2 lb thinly sliced deli ham
1/2 lb thinly sliced hard salami
1/2 sliced provolone cheese
2 jars (12 oz each) roasted sweet red peppers, sliced and patted dry
1. Place a greased 9-in springform pan on foil. Wrap foil around pan. Separate one tube crescent dough into eight triangles, press onto bottom of prepared pan. Bake at 350 for 10-15 minutes or until set.
2. In a large skillet, cook spinach until wilted. Blot off excess liquid. In a large bowl, whisk six eggs, Parmesan cheese, Italian seasoning and pepper.
3. Layer prepared crust with half the ham, salami, provolone, red peppers, spinach and egg mixture. Repeat layers.
4. Press remaining crescent rolls on top to create a crust. Whisk remaining egg and brush on top. Bake, uncovered, at 350 for 30 min. Cover and continue to bake for 45 min or until a thermometer reaches 160. Let stand 20 min before slicing.
We really liked this dish. It is definitely savory, so a salad is a great side for it.
